About the Event
The 2021 Massachusetts Prostate Cancer Symposium — leading prostate cancer specialists provide up-to-date information on the latest in prostate cancer diagnosis, treatment and research.
- The Symposium is a statewide public education event devoted to providing accurate and up-to-date information on prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment as well as related research. It is open to the public at no charge.
- The Symposium has been held annually since 1997, averaging more than 300 attendees each year. More than 8,000 people, in the aggregate, have attended the annually.
- The audience includes men-at-risk, newly diagnosed, survivors, caregivers, and health care professionals.
- Educational sessions on racial disparities, family history of the disease and other elements of high-risk are included.
